I forgot to mention yesterday that the two writing coaches did meet with me. They suggested that i do more of the Learning Focused Schools graphic organizers. So this morning I re-wrote my lesson for today. I think it went very well. We did two cause and effect organizers and a Who, WHat, When, Where, Why, and How organizer. Not that the kids don’t usually discuss the articles, but I think they were able to follow along better.
On a naughty note, during the last period of the day I had a little slip up. We have this intramural period, today was whiffle ball. I went to help our Discovery Home Room catch a ball and I missed. And as my husband can tell you I sometime let some choice curse words fly. Under my breath I said SHIT. I don’t think anyone heard it, but boy was I embarrassed.
