This is slowly coming to a close. I observed the other student teacher today. He has a history classroom with all the bells and whistles. (A full working Smart Board). Prior to the day I observed the students watched a documentary on the Alamo. Then he must have made them watch the full John Wayne version of the Alamo. And today he showed them clips of the Alamo , the most recent movie with BB Thornton and others. Some of the kids were asked about the accuracy of the movies. and the kids had a short discussion on factualness. apparently the John Wayne version is very un-factual.
